How to use Foam Clay to make Bowsette's Super Crown!

We couldn’t help but join in on the “Bowsette” trend, and decided to help all of you planning your Super Crown cosplays! Using EVA foam and a 150g container of Grey Lumin’s Workshop Foam Clay, we set to work creating an ultra light weight build of the character changing crown.

Can you believe it only took an hour to craft it? After allowing the foam to completely cure, the crown was ready to paint. The gold is done with acrylic spray paint, while the mushroom is just simple acrylic craft paint! Because we used black and grey foam but wanted the colours to be as bright as possible, we first applied a layer of white acrylic spray paint.
