Handmade Pirate Tricorn Hat - Ghostship #43

Built on a synthetic felt pale blue base, grey linen gauze is overlayed and embroidered with swirling waves.  All of the embroidery is done on a regular, non-computerized sewing machine, by hand with a free-motion/darning foot.  The outside shows the metal silver thread, while the inside of the brim shows off the scenic design in black thread, like a sketch drawing.
